My Story
Artaska is a Soulful Hip Hop Violinist known for her genre-bending performances and deeply expressive sound that captivates audiences everywhere. Her music blends epic energy with elegance and soul, redefining what the violin can do in contemporary music.
A Wisconsin native with Southern roots, Artaska began playing the violin at the age of four. As a child prodigy, she honed her craft through the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra and numerous other ensembles. In 2016, she released her debut album Coffee, with songs featured in multiple web series, one of which went on to television.
During the 2020 pandemic, she released her EP Spontaneous, led by the title track that climbed to #37 on the Smooth Jazz charts. Her sound fuses classical undertones with modern flair, creating a sonic journey that is both spontaneous and emotional.
In 2021 Artaska performed as a violinist at the NFL Big Sean's Thanksgiving Halftime Show in front of 30 million people. February of 2022 Artaska was honored by the Detroit Piston's Motor City Cruise for Mother's Day due to her accomplishments. In May of 2023 Artaska opened up for Grammy Nominated Mikki Howard. Since then, she has celebrated seven top-charting songs on Apple Music.
